Balsam

Balsam is a fragrant resin that can be obtained from various different plants.

Balsam was imported by the Arabians, as is described in Ezekiel 27:22. It was also given as a gift of spices and balms (1 Kings 10:2). Balsam was very precious and was therefore stored with great care (2 Kings 20:13).
