Incense Offering

Every morning and every evening, the Israelites had to burn incense for God. This was done on the incense altar as described in Exodus 30.

The Incense Offering

The incense offering consisted of different sorts of resin and incense. It was mixed with salt, as a sign of the purity and holiness of the mixture.
If anyone made such a mixture for themselves, they could no longer be a part of the people of Israel.
