Milkom

Milkom was a god of the Ammonites. He was probably one of the gods of the realm of the dead, and played a part in the cult of the dead (veneration of the dead).

Milkom is mentioned nine times in the Bible, mostly in the book of Jeremiah.
According to some, Milkom is another name for the god Molech, who is also mentioned in the Bible. But there is no proof of this. It seems more likely that these are two different gods, each of whom had his own temple in Jerusalem.
