Tanakh
The Jewish name for the Old Testament is Tanakh. This word is formed with the first three letters of three Hebrew words: Torah (“Law”), Neviim (“Prophets”) and Ketuvim (“Writings”). These are the three collections that make up the Old Testament in the Jewish tradition.
