New Year – Day 6

₂₃And he said to them all, “Anyone who wants to come with me must forget self, take up their cross every day, and follow me. ₂₄For whoever wants to save their own life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for my sake will save it.

₃₈Those who do not take up their cross and follow in my steps are not fit to be my disciples.

₂₀so that it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. This life that I live now, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave his life for me.
