New Year – Day 5

₇I have done my best in the race, I have run the full distance, and I have kept the faith. ₈And now there is waiting for me the victory prize of being put right with God, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that Day — and not only to me, but to all those who wait with love for him to appear.

₁To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see.

₃Do your best to preserve the unity which the Spirit gives by means of the peace that binds you together.

₂₂“The Mighty One is God! He is the LORD! The Mighty One is God! He is the LORD! He knows why we did this, and we want you to know too! If we rebelled and did not keep faith with the LORD, do not let us live any longer!
