You must praise the Lord
1Praise the Lord.
You who are in heaven,
you must praise the Lord.
Praise Him from high above.
2All his angels must praise Him,
all the armies in heaven must praise Him,
3sun and moon, you must praise Him,
and all the stars that shine must praise Him.
4The heaven up high must praise Him,
and the clouds and water in the sky.
5They must praise the name of the Lord,
because He commanded
and then everything was there.
6He put everything in its place
to stay there forever and ever.
He made a law for them all
and that will never change.
7All the fish and animals in the deep sea,
and everything on earth must praise the Lord.
8Praise the Lord, fire, hail-stones, snow,
mist and stormy winds.
9All of you must praise Him,
and also the mountains, hills,
fruit trees and cedar trees,
10wild animals and farm animals,
reptiles that crawl and birds that fly,
11kings of the earth and all the nations,
leaders and those who rule over the earth,
12young men and young women,
old people and children,
13all of you must praise the name of the Lord,
because his name
is more important than anything else.
He is the King of heaven and earth.
14He made his people strong.
Everyone who believes in Him praises Him.
All the people of Israel praise Him.
He loves them the most
and they may serve Him in his temple.
You must praise the Lord.
