The Letter of Paul to the Romans

Paul wrote the letter to the Romans around the year AD 56, from the church of Cenchreae, the port city of Corinth. The letter was brought to Rome by Phoebe (Romans 16:1). The letter is directed to a church which Paul himself did not found and where he had not yet been. In the letter he makes it clear that he is about to come to Rome.
