Eternal Wisdom – Day 18

₂₄None of you should be looking to your own interests, but to the interests of others.

₃₂Live in such a way as to cause no trouble either to Jews or Gentiles or to the church of God. ₃₃Just do as I do; I try to please everyone in all that I do, not thinking of my own good, but of the good of all, so that they might be saved.

₂₁Submit yourselves to one another because of your reverence for Christ.

₁₀Love one another warmly as Christian brothers and sisters, and be eager to show respect for one another.

₉So let us not become tired of doing good; for if we do not give up, the time will come when we will reap the harvest. ₁₀So then, as often as we have the chance, we should do good to everyone, and especially to those who belong to our family in the faith.

₅Be wise in the way you act towards those who are not believers, making good use of every opportunity you have. ₆Your speech should always be pleasant and interesting, and you should know how to give the right answer to everyone.

₁₆In the same way your light must shine before people, so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.

₂₂Do not deceive yourselves by just listening to his word; instead, put it into practice.

₁₀So then, my brothers and sisters, try even harder to make God's call and his choice of you a permanent experience; if you do so, you will never abandon your faith.

₁₈My children, our love should not be just words and talk; it must be true love, which shows itself in action.

₁₉This, then, is how we will know that we belong to the truth; this is how we will be confident in God's presence.
