Eternal Wisdom – Day 16

₁₆I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, who will stay with you for ever.

₂₆The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and make you remember all that I have told you.

₈And when he comes, he will prove to the people of the world that they are wrong about sin and about what is right and about God's judgement.

₃I want you to know that no one who is led by God's Spirit can say “A curse on Jesus!” and no one can confess “Jesus is Lord”, without being guided by the Holy Spirit.

₂₁It is God himself who makes us, together with you, sure of our life in union with Christ; it is God himself who has set us apart, ₂₂who has placed his mark of ownership upon us, and who has given us the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the guarantee of all that he has in store for us.

₂₁For God in his wisdom made it impossible for people to know him by means of their own wisdom. Instead, by means of the so-called “foolish” message we preach, God decided to save those who believe.

₁₇So then, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message comes through preaching Christ.
