Eternal Wisdom – Day 10

₈But God has shown us how much he loves us — it was while we were still sinners that Christ died for us!

₂₃For sin pays its wage — death; but God's free gift is eternal life in union with Christ Jesus our Lord.

₁₈For Christ died for sins once and for all, a good man on behalf of sinners, in order to lead you to God. He was put to death physically, but made alive spiritually,

₁₇and ask the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, to give you the Spirit, who will make you wise and reveal God to you, so that you will know him.

₂₂But now, by means of the physical death of his Son, God has made you his friends, in order to bring you, holy, pure, and faultless, into his presence.

₉For we know that Christ has been raised from death and will never die again — death will no longer rule over him. ₁₀And so, because he died, sin has no power over him; and now he lives his life in fellowship with God. ₁₁In the same way you are to think of yourselves as dead, so far as sin is concerned, but living in fellowship with God through Christ Jesus.

₁₁If the Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from death, lives in you, then he who raised Christ from death will also give life to your mortal bodies by the presence of his Spirit in you.

₁₄God raised the Lord from death, and he will also raise us by his power.

₃I passed on to you what I received, which is of the greatest importance: that Christ died for our sins, as written in the Scriptures; ₄that he was buried and that he was raised to life three days later, as written in the Scriptures;

₂₂Nor does the Father himself judge anyone. He has given his Son the full right to judge,

₂₇And he has given the Son the right to judge, because he is the Son of Man. ₂₈Do not be surprised at this; the time is coming when all the dead will hear his voice ₂₉and come out of their graves: those who have done good will rise and live, and those who have done evil will rise and be condemned.
