26The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and make you remember all that I have told you.

27“Peace is what I leave with you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.

When Jesus says: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27), He is asking us to hear His voice. It is not about war or withdrawal from conflict to achieve peace. It is about engaging with the broken-hearted in the world. It is indeed about loving persuasion. It is about engaging with injustice.

It is about engaging with those who are invisible and need to be heard. It is about engaging with the ways of the world. Jesus is asking us to redesign a way to live peacefully.
