Today I want to do something different. I am going to give you three verses and one “assignment”.

The verses:

·   Psalm 37:5: “Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will help you.”
·  Jeremiah 32:27: “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”
·  Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

The assignment:

Read through the above-mentioned Scriptures again. Now, choose at least one of them that stands out to you. Write it down on a piece of paper or put it in notes on your cellphone. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you how that promise is applicable to your life. Is there any concern you are carrying around that you need to give to God? Make sure you read the Scripture a few times throughout the day and think about it.

God’s Word is living and powerful. Let us put it in our hearts and meditate on it. It will make the load on our shoulders much lighter. God bless.
