₁Everyone on earth

must rejoice before the Lord.

₂Be happy when you serve the Lord,

and sing when you come to Him.

₃Know that the Lord is God,

He made us and we belong to Him.

We are his people.

We are the sheep that belong to Him.

₄Come into the gates of the city and thank Him.

Go to his temple and praise Him

in the courtyards.

Thank Him and praise his name.

₅The Lord is good.

His love for us is forever, and it will never change.

He is faithful to all people,

and to all generations.
