Esther 10
Mordecai becomes very important
1King Ahasuerus told all the people in the land and on the islands to pay tax and to work for him. 2All the great and important things that he did are written in the book of the history of the kings of Media and Persia. The story of the important work that the king gave Mordecai is also written in the book of history. 3Mordecai, the Jew, was the 2nd most important person after King Ahasuerus. The Jews respected him and all his people loved him. Mordecai worked hard for his people and he prayed and asked that everything would be well with all his descendants.
