The Benjamin tribe
1Benjamin had 5 sons. The oldest son was Bela, the 2nd son was Ashbel, the 3rd son was Aharah, 2the 4th son was Nohah and the 5th son was Rapha. 3Bela's sons were Addar, Gera, Abihud, 4Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah, 5Gera, Shephuphan and Huram.
6The sons of Ehud were the leaders of families of the people who lived in Geba. Later, enemies caught them and took them away to Manahath. 7Naaman, Ahijah and Gera were taken away. Gera was the father of Uzza and Ahihud. 8-10Shaharaim divorced his 2 wives Hushim and Baara. Then he and his wife, Hodesh, had other children in the land of Moab. They were the parents of Jobab, Zibia, Mesha, Malkam, Jeuz, Sakia and Mirmah. They were the sons of Shaharaim and they were leaders of families. 11Shaharaim and his wife, Hushim, were the parents of Abitub and Elpaal. 12The sons of Elpaal were Eber, Misham and Shemed, who built the towns of Ono and Lod with their villages. 13Elpaal was also the father of Beriah and Shema. They were leaders of their families of the people who lived in the town of Aijalon. They chased away the people who lived in the town of Gath.
14-16The sons of Beriah were Ahio, Shashak, Jeremoth, Zebadiah, Arad, Eder, Michael, Ishpah and Joha. 17The sons of Elpaal were Zebadiah, Meshullam Hizki, Heber, 18Ishmerai, Izliah and Jobab. 19-21The sons of Shimei were Jakim, Zikri, Zabdi, Elienai, Zillethai, Eliel, Adaiah, Beraiah and Shimrath. 22-25The sons of Shashak were Ishpan, Eber, Eliel, Abdon, Zikri, Hanan, Hananiah, Elam, Anthothijah, Iphdeiah and Penuel. 26-27The sons of Jeroham were Shamsherai, Shehariah, Athaliah, Jaareshiah, Elijah and Zikri. 28All of these men were the leaders of their families and they lived in Jerusalem.
Saul's forefathers and descendants

29The forefather of the people of Gibeon lived in Gibeon. The name of his wife was Maakah. 30His oldest son was Abdon and his other sons were Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab, 31Gedor, Ahio and Zeker. 32Mikloth was the father of Shimeah. They also lived with their family in Jerusalem.
33Ner was the father of Kish, Kish was the father of Saul and Saul was the father of Jonathan, Malki-Shua, Abinadab and Esh-Baal. 34The son of Jonathan was Merib-Baal and Merib-Baal was the father of Micah.
35The sons of Micah were Pithon, Melek, Tarea and Ahaz. 36Ahaz was the father of Jehoaddah and Jehoaddah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth and Zimri. Zimri was the father of Moza. 37Moza was the father of Binea, Binea was the father of Raphah, Raphah was the father of Eleasah and Eleasah was the father of Azel.
38Azel had 6 sons. They were Azrikam, Bokeru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah and Hanan. 39Azel's brother Eshek had 3 sons, Ulam, Jeush and Eliphelet. 40The sons of Ulam were important men, and they could shoot very well with a bow_and_arrow. They had many children and grandchildren. There were 150 of them.
All of these people were the descendants of Benjamin.
