The Lord does everything for me
This is a Psalm of David.
1Lord, I want to thank You
with all my heart.
I want to sing to You so that
all the gods can hear my song.
2I want to bow down towards
your holy temple and worship You.
I want to praise your name
because your love for us will never end
and because You are faithful.
Your name and your Word
are greater than anything.
3When I needed You and prayed to You,
You answered me and
You made me strong and brave.
4All the kings on earth
will thank You because
they have heard what You have said.
5They will sing about the things
that the Lord has done,
because the Lord is the Great_King,
and his glory is wonderful.
6The Lord is almighty
and high in heaven,
but He cares for people
who are humble and poor,
and He does not love people who are proud.
7When I have trouble all around me,
You are with me and You keep me safe.
You put out your hand and
You defeat my angry enemies
and save me.
8The Lord will do everything
that He has planned for me.
Lord, your love for me will never end.
Lord, You have made us.
Please don't leave us alone.
