*Psalms 113

₁Praise the Lord.

All the servants of the Lord,

you must praise Him.

You must praise the name of the Lord.

₂Everyone must praise the name of the Lord,

now and forever.

₃Everyone must praise the name of the Lord,

from where the sun comes up

to the place where it goes down.

₄The Lord is high above all the nations,

and his glory is high above the heaven.

₅There is no one like the Lord our God.

He sits high above on his throne,

₆and He bows down to look

upon heaven and earth.

₇The Lord lifts up the poor people

out of the dust.

He is good to people who have nothing,

and He lifts them up from the ash-heap

₈and lets them come and sit

with important people,

with princes and leaders of his people.

₉The Lord gives children to women

who could not have any babies,

and He makes them happy mothers of their own families.

You must praise the Lord.
