Chosen

“Chosen” is a complex theological concept that plays an important part in both the Old Testament and New Testament:

In the Old Testament, the verb “to choose” sometimes applies to the choices people make, but mostly it is used for the choices God makes.
In the New Testament, Jesus is called the “chosen” Son of God. It is also said of believers that they are “chosen”.
