KUTOLLO 1:8NSO00Bula go Mmadi wa Bibele

Today’s verse serves as a reminder of God’s sovereignty over all time – past, present, and future. He declares himself as the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, encompassing the entirety of existence.

In a world that often feels uncertain and ever-changing, it is reassuring to know that our God is constant and unchanging. He is the same yesterday, today, and for ever. He holds the past, present, and future in his hands, fully aware of every moment and intricately involved in every aspect of our lives.

As the Alpha, God is the originator of all things. He is the Creator who spoke the universe into being and formed humanity in his image. He existed before time began and holds the entire course of history in his sovereign control.

As the Omega, God is the ultimate destination and fulfilment of all things. He is the culmination of his redemptive plan, bringing restoration and renewal to a broken world. He offers eternal life and the promise of dwelling in his presence for ever.

Today, let us take comfort in the fact that our God is the Alpha and the Omega, the One who holds our past, present, and future in his hands. As we navigate the uncertainties of life, may we find peace in knowing that he is with us every step of the way. Let us trust in his sovereignty and surrender our lives to his perfect plan, confident that he is working all things together for our good.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we praise you for your eternal nature and your sovereignty over all time. In the midst of life’s uncertainties, help us to trust in your unchanging character and hold fast to your promises. Grant us the wisdom to surrender our lives to your will and the assurance that you are working all things for our good. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen
