God is very good to us. He makes us righteous
1God made us righteous because we believe in Christ. Now there is peace between God and us because our Lord Jesus Christ has made this peace. 2And because we believe, Christ helps us so that we will always know that God is very good to us. And we are proud because we hope and know that we will be with God, our King. 3We are also proud when we suffer because we know that when we suffer, we learn to be patient. 4And when we are patient, it shows that we are as God wants us to be, and when we are as God wants us to be, we hope and know that God will save us. 5We know that we will get what we hope for, because God gave his Holy_Spirit to us and the Holy_Spirit makes our hearts full of God's love.
6Christ died while we were weak. Yes, He died at the right time to save sinners. 7No one would choose to die to save another person, even if it is a good person. Or maybe there may be a brave person who would choose to die to save a good man. 8But Christ died to save us when we were sinners. This is how we know that God loves us very much. 9Christ died to save us and that is why God has made us righteous. Now we can be more sure that Christ will save us and that God will not punish us. 10In the past we were God's enemies, but God's Son died so that everything can be right between God and us. God made Christ live again and now everything is right between God and us, so we can be even more sure that Christ will save us. 11We know that Christ will save us and we are very proud because our Lord Jesus Christ has died so that everything can be right between God and us and that we can belong to Him.
Christ and Adam
12Sin came into the world because one man, Adam, sinned, and with that sin, death came into the world. And so all people die, because everyone has sinned. 13The people sinned before God gave them his laws, but they were not guilty, because there were no laws that they could disobey. 14They were not guilty of disobeying the laws, but they had to die, from the time when Adam sinned, to the time when Moses gave the laws of God to the Israelites. All of those people had to die, even the people who did not sin in the same way that Adam had sinned. Yes, Adam sinned and he died. He was an example that showed what Christ, the One who came later, had come to do.
15God's grace is not the same as sin. It is a lot stronger. One man, Adam, sinned and that is why many people died. But God's grace is much better. God saved many more people because of what one Man, Jesus Christ, did. God saved them because He is so good to them. 16God's grace is not the same as the sin of Adam. One man sinned and God punished all sins. But the grace of God is different. God gave his grace as a free gift to people who have done many sins and He made them righteous. 17One man, Adam, sinned and after that the people died. Death ruled over them like a king. But the grace of God is much better. He is very good to people and He makes them righteous. They will live forever and they will rule because one Man, Jesus Christ, has saved them.
18One man, Adam, sinned so God punished all people. But it was also one Man, Christ, who did what God wants, and that is why God makes all people righteous and frees them and makes them live. 19One man, Adam, disobeyed God and he made many people sinners. But it was also one Man, Christ, who listened to God and that is why God makes many people righteous.
20The laws came so that sin could become more. But when sin became more, the grace of God also became more. 21Sin has great power over people because it brings death, but the grace of God has greater power over us because it has made us righteous through Jesus Christ our Lord who saves us and gives us eternal_life.
