With great excitement, we would like to announce that the new Afrikaans Bible 2020 Translation will be launched at the Kopanong Auditorium (‘Kovsie Kerk’) in Bloemfontein, on Sunday 29 November. The service will be streamed LIVE at 14:30 on the Bible Society’s Youtube page and Facebook page. More than 9 000 copies of Die Bybel 2020-vertaling have already been sold since the Bible was made available on 19 October. Furthermore, the Bibles with the Deuterocanonical Books are already sold out.
It is with great excitement that we would like to announce that the new isiZulu 2020 translation was launched in Ulundi, KwaZulu-Natal, on Sunday 18 October. A new generation of isiZulu speakers will encounter the Word of God with new understanding and insight when they read this translation.
By God’s grace, Bible Societies around the world had been able to achieve the incredible feat of distributing 1,8 billion Scriptures in the last five years, with 2019 being a record year for Bible provision.
